We are a manufacturing supplier of various Label Types to the UK Industry and have introduced an industrial label which we find has an application and a need in schools for Parents to easily label school garments etc. with the name of their child.

A simple “IRON – ON”  &  “MACHINE WASHABLE” name tag label (actual size 50mm x 12mm) which can be indelibly printed in short runs usually from 50 upwards on our Desk Top Label Printer.

The Printer can be operated either directly from a standard PC with a Label Software Design Package or is available Pre – Programmed as a Stand Alone Unit complete with an intelligent Alpha/Numeric Keyboard which does not require a PC and can be plugged into a standard electric socket.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR IRON – ON NAME TAGS

Using a general-purpose iron and ironing board set the iron to “dry” mode temperature setting 130 – 170 degrees (middle setting). 

Using the flat surface of iron hold the name tag in place with the iron for 10 – 15 seconds. 

Do not move the iron around.

Allow the garment to cool down. 

Do this three times to prevent snagging and improve adhesion, round corners of the name tag before application. 

Use a thin pressing cloth on delicate fabrics.
