The year of 2020 marks the 30th anniversary of Auto ID Systems! Founded in 1990 by Brian Hazard, Auto ID Systems started off as a label printing bureau service and quickly established itself with customers as a trusted seller of high-quality labels and label machines. The company is now run by Brian’s son, Steve, who has just as much passion for the business as his father.
In the year of 2000, 10 years after Auto ID was founded, Labelmate appointed Auto ID Systems Ltd as the major reseller of the Labelmate product range in the UK and Ireland – an important milestone for the family-run business. We’re proud to still be working with Labelmate 20 years later and distributing their high-quality labels and products – we’re excited for many more years to come!
We’re celebrating 30 years at the forefront of the label business, making sure every customer that purchases from us, whether it be once or over 100 times, gets the same quality of service we’ve consistently provided along with the best labels or label machines for their exact requirements.
Steve’s Message
Our Managing Director, Steve, has expressed the pride he has for running the company, here’s what he had to say about this massive anniversary for Auto ID:
“I joined Auto ID Systems Ltd in 1999 at the young age of 19 and I became the Managing Director at age 34 and in my 6 years I have seen the company expand a lot more during this time.
Auto ID Systems Ltd has a great working relationship with another Labelling company called Northern Label Systems Ltd and we had a small factory share in Hesketh Bank but since both companies have expanded so much over time we had to move to a new larger factory in Bamber Bridge and still continue to work together very successfully.
For 30 years Auto ID Systems Ltd has been helping businesses to operate more efficiently, increase performance and be more competitive. From retail to manufacturing, healthcare to warehousing, hospitality and leisure to food and beverage industry and are pleased to help small start-ups to large corporations.
Many of our existing customers are still with us from 30 years ago and we are extremely grateful and would like to thank them and all our customers for their loyalty over the years.
It really is a great feeling coming to work every day and I enjoy what challenges may wait for myself and feel very lucky to have a job that I love.”
